Frequently Asked Questions

For those random unanswered questions you may still have, we present to you our Frequently Asked Questions page. You can browse answers to our most common questions and requests here, or give us a call to speak directly with a representative. We look forward to hearing from you!

How long will it take to service my vehicle?

About 85% of our customers are able to bring their cars home the same day they drop it off (within a couple of hours). The delay on the remaining vehicles is usually due to the extensive amount of work needed or the lack of readily available parts for a certain installment or repair. We aim to provide you with a convenient full-service on your car, and we work around any hiccups that may surface in order to deliver your fixed vehicle on time. Please contact us in advance for time estimates.

Can you determine the cost of fixing my car before I bring it in?

Yes. And no. We take pride in our ability to provide a rough estimate of the cost of servicing your car without even seeing it. However, in order to give you an accurate and detailed proposal, we will need to see your vehicle in person. Bring it in or give us a call any time during our office hours!

What makes of vehicles can you service?

Our technicians service all models and make of vehicles. We’re proud of our mechanics and their wide range of skills for all different kinds of cars. We’re experienced with virtually every engine, exhaust system, and tire on the market. We are highly skilled with both foreign and domestic vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Will you charge me just for an estimate?

When you bring in your car, we can usually visually identify most, if not all, problems. We may opt to take it for a road test to see if that provides any more information. We don’t charge estimate fees for these quick overview assessments. However, if we need to disassemble parts of your car or do further testing to determine the problem, we will have to charge you for our time. Our estimate fees are always applied on a case by case basis, with the vast majority being a total estimate charge of $0.

Can you take me to work?

Need to get somewhere when you drop off your car for repair? We are more than happy to provide transportation for you! Just let us know before you bring your car in that you will be needing a ride (and/or a pick up) and when you need it. We will make sure to have a driver ready and available to transport you to and from your workplace/home.

Can you perform services on parts still under warranty?

We are happy to perform services on any part. But be aware that if the part is still under warranty, then you should go to the dealer if you want the expense to be covered by your manufacturer. Take note that any and all “customer pay” services recommended by your manufacturer (e.g. oil change) can be performed by our automotive repair shop without voiding your warranty. We want to stress that our mechanics are highly trained and capable to handle nearly any request. We’d also be happy to discuss whether or not your part will be covered or if we can perform the repair via phone call or visit.

What kind of warranty can you offer me?

Our blanket warranty is 24 months (2 years), or 24,000 miles; whichever comes first. However, most of our replacement parts are usually covered under warranty for as long as you own your car. Call us if you have questions or would like more details about this coverage.

Do you ever use remanufactured components?

We use remanufactured components on your car whenever it makes sense. This is especially true regarding starters, alternators, generators, engines, and transmissions. With that said, we always meet the standard for OEM tolerances, durability, and quality.

Our top priority is to provide you with better peace of mind through high-quality repair that keeps both you and your car safe.

Do you use original equipment (OEM) parts?

Yes, we do use OEM parts. We also use any aftermarket parts that are of equal quality whenever we can in order to save you money, but not compromise quality. We will gladly use OEM parts exclusively, upon your request.
